Redsfest Volunteers
Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Redsfest. Due to popular demand, we are already full on volunteers and can no longer accept new volunteers.

FOX Sports Ohio Redsfest presented by PNC Bank, benefiting the Reds Community Fund, returns on December 6 & 7 at the Duke Energy Convention Center (DECC) in downtown Cincinnati. We need to recruit over 300 volunteers to help make the event a success!

Volunteers will be asked to work one or both of the following shifts:

  • FULL Friday, Dec. 6, 1:30-10:30 p.m.
  • FULL Saturday, Dec. 7, 9:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.*

Please note: Saturday's volunteer schedule is full

You may work either one or both shifts, but it's crucial that you're able to commit to the entire shift(s) for which you sign up. All volunteers who work will receive a $10 stipend per day, meal during that day, a volunteer t-shirt and two Field Box tickets to a 2014 Reds game (based on availability; excluding Opening Day and other Premium Series). Volunteers will be randomly assigned a variety of duties including but not limited to assisting with special photograph areas, kids areas, main stage, help answer questions for guests, interactive activities (batting cages, speed pitch, etc.), passing out bags/programs and other misc. tasks.

There will be a volunteer training session on the evening of Thursday, December 5 at the DECC. All volunteers are asked to attend this training.

Another part of the Redsfest production is assembling the 20,000 bags we pass out to all fans in attendance. We need as many people as possible to help with this enormous task. You may bring others with you and they do not need to sign up ahead of time for just bag stuffing. There is no dress code and this is an unpaid duty, but it does count if you need community service hours and is also a great way to stand out and be noticed. It will be held at the DECC lobby Monday, December 2 - Wednesday, December 4 from 9 AM - 6 PM each day. Even an hour here and there is a HUGE help.

We take volunteers of all ages (minimum 16 years of age for Friday/Saturday; no age requirements for bag stuffers), it's a way to get community service hours in a fun manner and it's also wonderful resume building experience for college students.

If you are interested in volunteering this year, please fill out the following form in its entirety. You will receive a confirmation email after your form is submitted to let you know we received your request to volunteer. If there are too many volunteer requests, volunteers will be chosen based on helping in the past, availability and sign up date. You will receive a second email in mid-November notifying you if you were selected as a volunteer or not. All volunteers need to fill out this form, emails will not be accepted as a way to sign up to volunteer.

Volunteers for Redsfest are not permitted to seek autographs or photographs from players while working their shifts. No exceptions. Any volunteers violating this policy will be relieved of their duties immediately.

If you have any remaining questions about Redsfest or volunteering contact Caylor Escalante at cescalante@reds.com.

Thanks for volunteering!
