The Phillies Blood Drive returns on Sunday, August 21 at Citizens Bank Park, from 6:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. The event, held in partnership with the American Red Cross, is being held to meet the critical need for blood this summer and offers presenting donors some rare opportunities. Among them:

- All presenting blood donors will receive a Special Event Shane Victorino Jersey Style T-Shirt.
- Several lucky donors will be randomly selected to be a Phillies VIP Fan at an upcoming home game, featuring a photo on the field during batting practice, tickets, among others.
- Opportunity to take photos with the 2008 World Series Trophy (please bring a camera).
- Chance to mingle with the Phillie Phanatic and more!

The Phillies Blood Drive is one of the largest blood drives in the region. Since 2006, the Phillies and American Red Cross have teamed up to host nine Phillies Blood Drives at Citizens Bank Park, collecting nearly 7,000 units of blood and potentially helping to save over 17,000 lives across the region.

HOW TO DONATE
Fans are asked to pre-register to donate blood at www.redcrossblood.org/phillies or by calling 1-800-RED CROSS. Most healthy people who are at least 17 years old and weigh 110 pounds or more are eligible to donate blood every 56 days. Sixteen-year-olds can donate blood with parental consent.

Fans who cannot attend the Phillies Blood Drive, but would still like to contribute to the cause, can contact the American Red Cross at 1-800-RED CROSS or visit www.redcrossblood.org.

PARKING & ENTRANCE
Parking for the event is free in Lot S, located off Phillies Drive (near the Majestic Clubhouse Store). Participants should enter Citizens Bank Park at the VIP Suite & Club WEST Entrance (near the Majestic Clubhouse Store). Also, donors are asked to bring their American Red Cross blood donor card or other form of positive ID.
