  • Getting Started
    To start receiving alerts for your team, please text the team name, for example ROCKIES to 65246 (MLBGO). You will receive a text message in your mobile phone's inbox advising you that to confirm your $3.99 one-month subscription, you must Reply to the message with a 'Y' or the word 'yes.' You will receive a thank you message to let you know that you are now signed up for MLB Team Alerts. You can expect to receive about ten new messages per week. Also, you will be sent a message every month that you can reply to to end your subscription if you wish.Carrier Standard rate messaging fees may apply, please check with your carrier for information.
  • To End Your Subscription
    To end your subscription, simply access any of the MLB messages and Reply with the word: END, QUIT, STOP, or UNSUBSCRIBE. The Alerts service will recognize only these words. If you have no MLB messages in your Inbox, you can just send the END, QUIT, STOP or UNSUBSCRIBE command to the number 65246 (MLBGO). If you have further issues, please call 1-866-306-5311.

  1. How do I sign up for Team Mobile Alerts?
    You can sign up for Team Mobile Alerts from your mobile handset as follows: Send a message with the name of your favorite team (i.e., Red Sox or Yankees) to MLBGO (65246). A message will be sent back to your mobile handset, asking you to confirm your subscription. Reply with Yes, and you will start to receive your Team Mobile Alerts.
  2. What types of messages will I receive once I sign up for Team Mobile Alerts?
    When you sign up for Team Mobile Alerts, you will receive messages directly on your mobile handset about your team. The alerts are:
    Off-Season:
    Breaking News
    League News
    Hot Stove Reports
    Injuries/Transactions
    During the Season:
    Lead Change Notifications (7th inning on)
    Game Recaps
    Trade Alerts
    Injury Updates
    Breaking News
    Periodic Coupons and Discounts
  3. How much will I pay for Team Mobile Alerts?
    Team Mobile Alerts is $3.99 per month, and will be billed directly to your mobile carrier bill.
  4. Can I receive Team Mobile Alerts for more than one team?
    Yes, you can. Simply follow the sign up procedures described above for each team. You will be charged $3.99 per month for each set of Team Mobile Alerts you sign up for.
  5. How do I opt-out of Team Mobile Alerts?
    To end your subscription, simply access any of the MLB messages and Reply with ONE of the following words: END, QUIT, STOP, or UNSUBSCRIBE. The Alerts service will recognize only these words. If you have no MLB messages in your Inbox, you can just send the END, QUIT, STOP or UNSUBSCRIBE command to the number 65246 (MLBGO). If you have further issues, please call 1-866-306-5311.
    If you have subscriptions to multiple teams, and wish to cancel you subscription to just one of them, send the phrase "STOP TEAMNAME" where TEAMNAME is the name of the team you wish to quit. For example, if you are subscribed to the Brewers and the Twins, and wish to cancel only your Twins Team Alerts, send "STOP TWINS". This will leave all other subscriptions you may have active.
  6. Does my carrier support MLB messaging campaigns?
    If your carrier does not support premium SMS you will receive a message "Sorry, your carrier does not support premium SMS campaigns. We will notify you when we can support your carrier.
  7. I have more than one alert subscription, and I want to cancel only one of them. How do I do that?
    Send the phrase "STOP TEAMNAME" to MLBGO. This will cancel the alerts for that team and only that team.
