TwinsFest 2015

TwinsFest 2015: January 23-25 at Target Field Tickets for TwinsFest at Target Field go on sale on Thursday, December 11

A longstanding Minnesota baseball tradition, TwinsFest at Target Field will run from Jan. 23 through Jan. 25, 2015, providing Twins fans with exclusive and intimate baseball experiences throughout the course of the weekend.

As the largest annual fundraiser for the Minnesota Twins Community Fund, TwinsFest will feature numerous new interactive activities and behind-the-scenes fan experiences that celebrate Twins baseball and Target Field. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Thursday, Dec. 11 at 10 a.m. Ticket sales will be capped for each day and a sell-out is expected. Tickets will cost $20 for adults and $10 for kids 14 and younger.

While continuing the popular player autographs, photo sessions, sports memorabilia and collector's show, TwinsFest at Target Field will return many feature elements from the inaugural event in 2014 including increased player involvement, boardwalk-style amusements, special panel discussions, self-guided clubhouse tours and a walking tour of the ballpark. The Twins Amusements area will once again allow fans to interact with their favorite current and former Twins players in a variety of competitive activities and boardwalk-style games. Additional interactive activities include taking cuts in the Twins batting cages, BINGO, reading with Twins mascot TC and Fan Feud. New to this year's event fans of all ages can compete against their favorite Twins' base runners and try to steal second base (including mat for sliding into second), along with testing their velocity in our speed pitch cage.

In addition, TwinsFest attendees will have the option to purchase a "white glove" tour of the Twins Archive Room, the chance to take batting practice in the Twins batting cages and an opportunity to enjoy the signature food and beverage options which have made Target Field baseball's best dining experience.

TwinsFest will once again feature the Twins Yard Sale, giving fans the opportunity to purchase unique team-issued gear, autographed memorabilia, Twins branded artwork and promotional items from the organization's first 54 years in Minnesota.

"We're excited to again host TwinsFest at Target Field, the capitol of Twins Territory," said Twins President Dave St. Peter. "As always, TwinsFest will serve as the unofficial start to a new baseball season while also helping raise significant proceeds for the Twins Community Fund and its many worthwhile programs across Twins Territory."

As in years past, more than 60 current, former and future Twins players are expected to appear throughout the course of the weekend.

Since its creation in 1989, TwinsFest has become a staple of the Minnesota sports scene. While the H.H.H. Metrodome served as the primary venue for TwinsFest, the event has also been hosted at Mall of America and the National Sports Center before moving to Target Field in 2014.

TwinsFest, one of the largest team-run fan festivals in professional sports, is the largest annual fundraiser for the Minnesota Twins Community Fund. Over the past 25 years TwinsFest has raised more than $4.2 million for programs and organizations supported by the Twins Community Fund.
