173Taylor, MichaelStanford URFR/R6'06"2501985-12-19JR400K
Comments: Opinions vary on Taylor, whom scouts have known since his sophomore year in high school when he was Zack Greinke's teammate. He does have tremendous raw power, but his approach made it difficult for him to show it much in games. He did finish the season strongly on a mediocre Stanford team and someone who saw him during that final stretch might feel they can turn that power potential into performance at the next level.

19Savery, JosephRice ULHPL/L6'03"2151985-11-04JR400K
Comments: Savery has spent the year coming back from offseason shoulder surgery all while being Rice's regular first baseman. A good outing in Regional play certainly didn't hurt the left-hander who was a sure-fire first-round before the injury, but some teams will likely stay away because of the shoulder issue and the fact his stuff hasn't consistently come all the way back. That being said, he could end up being a steal for a team willing to take a chance after the first round.

383Sampson, JulianSkyline HSRHPR/R6'05"2101989-01-21HS400K
Comments: In a year without too many "complete package" high school arms, Sampson should get a long look this spring. With a good arm, good mechanics and the kind of projection scouts look for in high school pitchers, this right-hander from the Pacific Northwest will generate plenty of interest.

83Mattair, TravisSouthridge HS3BR/R6'05"2101988-12-21HS400K
Comments: Mattair is a big, athletic infielder who most likely will see his future at third. He can hit and will hit for power with a swing that should be well suited for wood bats. He's got a strong arm and soft hands and plus, plus makeup.
