October 27, 1991 > A hard-fought World Series between the Minnesota Twins and Atlanta Braves is finally captured by the Twins when Gene Larkin's fly ball in the bottom of the 10th delivers Dan Gladden with the winning run in Game 7. Minnesota's Jack Morris, who pitched 10 shutout innings in the clincher, is named Series MVP.
