Customer Service FAQ

What is MLB Network?

MLB Network stands for Major League Baseball Network, which means access to more baseball than America's ever seen! This new 24-hour network delves into the world of baseball, going far beyond the field. Fans can tune in at any time for fresh perspectives, current news, the latest trade rumors, pre and post-game banter, highlights and more.

Will I be able to see MLB Network on my system?

If your video provider is affiliated with MLB Network, you will need to subscribe to digital cable at the "digital basic" or equivalent level of service. For example, if you are currently a customer with "expanded basic" on an analog box you will need to order a digital box with the digital basic level of service. If you have further questions, contact your video provider.

* - Some select providers (i.e. DirecTV, Verizon FiOS) offer MLB Network on the expanded basic level of service.

How can I get "Digital Basic" in my home?

Call your video provider and ask them to verify your current subscription level or schedule an installation for digital cable service.

I have the "Digital Basic" level of service and still cannot see MLB Network?

Your individual digital box may need to be reset. This can be done by unplugging your box and then restarting it. If this does not work, call your video provider to verify your subscription level; it may be necessary for your provider to remotely reset the signal to your box.

What about High-Definition Programming on MLB Network?

All original MLB Network programming will be in true 720p high-definition format, 24/7/365. If you are not receiving the MLB Network HD feed, call your video provider to ask when it will be available in your area.
