After a tough ending to a 10-game road trip -- with losses in the final two games to Colorado -- the Phillies return to Citizens Bank Park to battle the slumping Dodgers.

Los Angeles has lost four in a row, having lost to the Cubs on Thursday, then being swept by the Reds.

The Phillies, despite the two losses, went 7-3 on their trek through Arizona, San Francisco and Colorado.

The send arguably their hottest pitcher to the mound in Vicente Padilla, who has won his past two starts after beginning the season 0-4.

The Dodgers counter with Wilson Alvarez, who has been sparkling since coming to Los Angeles last season. He seems fully recovered from his arm injuries.
