Blue Jays at the plate: Vernon Wells pounded two homers and drove in three runs to lead Toronto. He had three hits. Reed Johnson also contributed by leading off the game with a homer. Gregg Zaun doubled and scored in the sixth.

Phillies at the plate: Chase Utley drove in Philadelphia's only run in the third with a two-out single. Jimmy Rollins singled twice and was caught stealing. Aaron Rowand ended a 4-for-33 start to his Spring Training by homering in the seventh -- his first of the spring. Jayson Werth crushed his first homer of the spring, a three-run shot, in the seventh inning.

Blue Jays on the mound: Josh Towers cruised through four innings, allowing one run on three hits and a walk. He struck out five. Jason Frasor contributed with a scoreless inning.

Phillies on the mound: Cole Hamels had his second straight rough outing, allowing four runs -- three earned -- on four hits in four innings. He surrendered three homers to the Blue Jays, as he worked on establishing his inside fastball. Geoff Geary tossed a scoreless inning.

Grapefruit League records: Phillies 6-8-1; Blue Jays 6-8-2.

Coming up: Toronto right-hander Roy Halladay is scheduled to make his fourth start of Spring Training when the Blue Jays head to Sarasota, Fla., on Friday to take on the Cincinnati Reds at 1:05 p.m. ET at Ed Smith Stadium. Halladay is 1-0 with a 1.00 ERA this spring.

Freddy Garcia heads to Lakeland, Fla., to face the defending American League champion Tigers and Mike Maroth at 1:05 p.m. The right-hander allowed three runs in three innings in his only other Grapefruit League outing. Jon Lieber will pitch in a Minor League game in St. Petersburg.
