Homers hurt Phils in loss to Tigers

Tigers at the plate: Carlos Guillen hit two tape-measure home runs deep to right field, both of them solo shots, and later added another RBI. Magglio Ordonez went 2-for-3 with a solo homer to the top of the left-field berm.
Phillies on the mound: J.D. Durbin gave up three home runs over four innings. He walked two and struck out three in his second outing of the spring. J.A. Happ allowed one run over two innings of relief.
Tigers on the mound: Justin Verlander picked up where he left off in his second outing of the spring, tossing three scoreless innings with one hit allowed. Denny Bautista continued his torrid spring with two perfect innings, giving the non-roster right-hander five scoreless frames on two hits.
Grapefruit League records: Phillies 3-4, Tigers 3-4-1.
