Werth on DL with strained right oblique
Outfielder suffered injury Thursday; Bohn recalled from Triple-A
HOUSTON -- Phillies outfielder Jayson Werth was placed on the disabled list with a strained right oblique after Friday's game against the Astros.
Werth was out of the lineup Friday, a day after suffering the injury.
The Phillies announced they were recalling outfielder T.J. Bohn from Triple-A Lehigh Valley to replace Werth.
It's Bohn's second recall. He appeared in seven games and had one hit in three official plate appearances in his earlier stint with the Phils.
Werth has started 21 games in center field and nine in right. He's hitting .260 and is fourth on the team in both home runs with nine and RBIs with 26.
