Phillies likely to ride current roster
Manuel indicates he'll go with layout that manufactured WS berth
ST. PETERSBURG -- Though it's not official, Charlie Manuel hinted before Monday's workout that his World Series roster will likely be the same as the first two rounds.
The Phillies have gone with an 11-man pitching staff, and taken J.A. Happ over veteran Rudy Seanez. Happ tossed three innings against the Dodgers in the National League Championship Series.So Taguchi will remain as the final bench player. The Phillies have brought a host of players with them to St. Petersburg in case of injury: Andy Tracy, Greg Golson, Kyle Kendrick, Seanez and catcher Lou Marson.
