WASHINGTON -- Ryan Howard hit a two-run home run to right field in the fourth inning Monday to give the Phillies a 2-1 lead. It was the 223rd homer of his career, which tied him with Greg Luzinski for fifth place on the franchise's all-time home run list.

Next up for Howard is Hall of Fame outfielder Chuck Klein's 243 homers.

"I wasn't even really aware," Howard said. "It's a great feat to have under the belt. [I'll] just try to keep going from there."
