SEPTA, Phanatic Invite Fans to Board the "Phillies Express" on Wednesday
Fans to celebrate Opening Night, convenience of taking the Broad Street Line to the game
WHAT: SEPTA will host a "Phillies Express" train on Wednesday night, where they will take the Phanatic and fans to that evening's ballgame, celebrating Opening Night at Citizens Bank Park and the convenience of taking the Broad Street Line to the Sports Complex.
- The celebration begins at 4:30 p.m. on the concourse of the Walnut-Locust Station, where fans will be given rally towels and other Phillies giveaways, as well as SEPTA chocolate tokens.
- Then, at 5 p.m., a few lucky fans will be invited to join the Phanatic and other special guests for a ride on the Broad Street Line's specially decorated "Phillies Express" Train to AT&T Station.
- Fans 15 and older attending that night's Phillies-Marlins game will also receive a Phillies Opening Night "Represent" T-Shirt, compliments of McDonald's.

NOTE: Fans are encouraged to purchase tokens ahead of time and have their passes and fares ready to board the "Phillies Express" at Walnut-Locust Station.
MORE: Taking SEPTA is the most convenient way for fans to get to Citizens Bank Park. Sports Express service will be available prior to each home game on the Broad Street Line. The Broad Street Line is accessible from a number of other SEPTA services, including the Market-Frankford Line, Regional Rail and bus and trolley routes. Fans from South Jersey can also access the Broad Street Line from the PATCO High Speed Line. In 2011, fans made 7,400 daily trips on the Broad Street Line for Phillies' games.
