Phillies eyeing return trips to All-Star Game
Polanco, picked by fans to start last year, back on ballot
The Phillies had five National League All-Stars in 2011, and nobody could have been surprised Roy Halladay, Cliff Lee and Cole Hamels made the roster.
They were three of the best pitchers in baseball.
Shane Victorino and Placido Polanco also made the team, with fans voting Polanco a starter.
It will be interesting to see if any Phillies crack the starting lineup in this year's All-Star Game in Kansas City. Phillies on the National League All-Star ballot include Victorino, Polanco, Hunter Pence, Jimmy Rollins, Carlos Ruiz, John Mayberry Jr. and a pair of Phillies still on the disabled list: Ryan Howard and Chase Utley.
