  • Mike Trout named unanimous 2014 American League MVP

    Angels outfielder Mike Trout today was named the 2014 American League Most Valuable Player in an announcement made Thursday by the Baseball Writers' Association of America (BBWAA). At 23 years and 52 days old at the end of the season, Trout is the third youngest A.L. player ever to win the award behind only Oakland's Vida Blue (22 years, 64 days) and Baltimore's Cal Ripken Jr. (23 years, 39 days) - ELIAS.

  • Angels acquire Cesar Ramos from Rays

    The Angels today acquired LHP Cesar Ramos from the Tampa Bay Rays in exchange for RHP Mark Sappington.

    The Los Angeles Angels have announced their 25-man roster that they will use in the American League Division Series against the Kansas City Royals, scheduled to begin tonight.

  • Angels League Championship Series Tickets On Sale Oct. 1

    The Angels today announced that tickets for all potential 2014 American League Championship Series playoff games at Angel Stadium will go on sale Wednesday, Oct. 1, beginning at 10:00 a.m. PT. Tickets will be available only online or via phone on the Angels website (www.angels.com) and Ticketmaster phone lines (714-663-9000). There will be no tickets available on site at Angel Stadium or any Ticketmaster Ticket Center.

  • Angels Baseball Division Series tickets on sale Sept. 18

    Angels Baseball announced today that tickets for all potential 2014 Division Series playoff games at Angel Stadium will go on sale Thursday, September 18, beginning at 10:00 a.m. PT. Tickets will be available only through the Angels website (www.angels.com) and through Ticketmaster's phone lines (714-663-9000). Tickets will only be for sale at Angel Stadium on the day of the Postseason game.

  • Angels announce 2015 season schedule

    The Angels today announced their schedule for the 2015 regular season, which begins with a brief three-game road series against division rival Seattle (April 6-8), followed by a home opening series against Kansas City (April 10-12). The club will also finish on the road with a four-game set against Texas (Oct. 1-4). A finalized 2015 schedule, complete with game times, will be released at a later date.
