    The Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation (LADF) will play host to the last of five Dodgers RBI Dodger Days presented by ARCO tomorrow at Darby Park, 3400 West Arbor Vitae in Inglewood, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The event will be highlighted by autographs with Dodger broadcaster and legendary lefty Fernando Valenzuela from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Dodger Days, regional events held this season, offer Dodgers RBI players and their families an opportunity to experience the Dodgers in their community.

    The Los Angeles Dodgers today reinstated right-handed reliever Joe Blanton from the Bereavement List and optioned left-hander Luis Avilan to Triple-A Oklahoma City.


    The Dodgers conclude their ninth homestand of the season with a three-game series against the Pittsburgh Pirates tomorrow, August 12, Saturday, August 13 and Sunday, August 14. Tomorrow's contest takes place at 7:10 p.m. with auto gates opening at 4:40 p.m. and stadium gates opening at 5:10 p.m. Saturday's contest takes place at 1:05 p.m., auto gates open at 10:35 a.m. and stadium gates open at 11:05 a.m. The final game of the series against the Pirates Sunday takes place at 1:10 p.m. with auto gates opening at 10:40 a.m. and stadium gates at 11:10 a.m. Tickets for games tomorrow through Sunday are available and can be purchased by calling 866-DODGERS or by visiting


    The Los Angeles Dodgers today announced a two-year extension in their affiliation agreement with the Single-A Rancho Cucamonga Quakes of the California League, continuing their partnership through the 2018 season.
