Phillies Select Robertson, Recall Worley and Zagurski from Triple-A
tickets for any Major League Baseball game

The Phillies selected the contract of left-handed pitcher Nate Robertson and recalled right-hander Vance Worley and left-hander Mike Zagurski from triple-A Lehigh Valley, Senior Vice President and General Manager Ruben Amaro Jr. announced today.

Robertson, 32, went 6-8 with a 5.47 ERA in 19 games (18 starts) this season with the Florida Marlins. In six starts against National League East teams, he went 3-1 with a 3.48 ERA.

Originally selected by Florida in the 5th round of the June 1999 draft, Robertson is 57-77 with one save and a 4.97 ERA in 221 career major league games (187 starts) for the Marlins (2002, 2010) and Detroit Tigers (2003-09).

Robertson will wear #31.

Worley, 22, was 10-7 with a 3.36 ERA in 27 starts between double-A Reading and Lehigh Valley this season. He made his major league debut for the Phillies on July 24 against the Colorado Rockies, pitching one scoreless inning in relief with two strikeouts. Worley was twice named the Phillies' Minor League Pitcher of the Week this season and earned Phillies Minor League Player of the Month honors for July.

Zagurski, 27, was 2-3 with a 3.27 ERA in 52 games with Lehigh Valley this season. Between June and July, he made five relief appearances with the Phillies, posting a 3.38 ERA in 5.1 innings. Overall, Zagurski is 1-0 with a 5.40 ERA in 30 career major league games.
