For the season, he is hitting .284 with 19 RBI. 13 of his hits are extra-base hits (7 doubles, 6 homers). The 25-year-old came to the Phillies from the Texas Rangers in a trade for OF Greg Golson, 11/20/08.
**Pitcher: RHP Justin De Fratus, Lakewood. Relieved in 2 games, 0 runs in 6.1 innings, 5 hits, 0 walks and 6 strikeouts. Stretched his scoreless streak to 12 innings, during which he recorded 16 strikeouts. For the season, he is 0-0, 1 save, 0.98 ERA for 8 appearances. He has yet to walk a batter and has 21 strikeouts. The 21-year-old was selected in the 11th round in 2007 out of Venture (CA) College. He was a starter in his first two pro seasons before moving to the bullpen in 2009.
