Bush opts out of contract, will pitch in Korea

Bush, 32, signed a Minor League deal in December after spending the 2011 season with the Rangers, appearing in 17 big league games (three starts). According to CSN's Jim Salisbury, Lehigh Valley manager Ryne Sandberg told reporters in Allentown, Pa., on Monday night that Bush had opted out of the deal.
The right-hander went 0-1 with a 5.79 ERA last season and is 56-69 with a 4.70 ERA in his eight big league seasons (five with the Brewers, two with the Blue Jays and one with the Rangers). He was worked primarily as a starter.
He had a 3.16 ERA at Lehigh Valley, with 37 strikeouts in 63 innings. Opponents hit .274 against him.
