This is going to take the fan experience to a whole new level.
On Friday, July 5, W&W - one of the top DJ & production teams in the world - will descend on Citizens Bank Park to host the first-ever electronic dance music event at a Major League Baseball game. W&W will perform at the end of that evening's Phillies-Braves game on the Budweiser Rooftop in Ashburn Alley.
W&W will take the stage for a set that traverses their catalog of international dance hits. All fans who have a ticket to that night's game are invited to take part. No additional tickets are needed.
The post-game event, produced by SoundGarden Hall, will take place in the ballpark's outfield entertainment area along Ashburn Alley, providing a unique backdrop for a night of amazing music and dancing. Concessions serving food and beverages will also remain open throughout the event.
We're absolutely thrilled to have W&W, who are dominating dance floors and festivals around the world, perform at Citizens Bank Park," said Michael Harris, Director, Marketing & Special Projects, The Phillies. "This will be a unique event, blending together the incredibly passionate fan bases of dance music and Phillies baseball."
"We've played in some of the most amazing venues in the world - from clubs of all sizes to massive festivals. But to play in a modern sports cathedral like Citizens Bank Park is definitely to the next level. We know how important the game of baseball is to the culture of the USA, and we'll definitely hit a home run in Philly!" W&W said.
"We are very proud of the progress we have made at bringing some of the greatest names in EDM to Philadelphia," said CJ Weaber, management at SoundGarden Hall. "But we are especially honored to unite our passion for music, pride in our city and our favorite baseball team, the Phillies, for one incredible night."
