Mastroianni to have left ankle surgery Wednesday
Outfielder Darin Mastroianni, on the 15-day disabled list with a left ankle stress reaction, will have surgery to repair a bone chip in his left ankle on Wednesday and is expected to be out at least six weeks.

Club hopes breakout game gets Hicks clicking
With a breakout game against the White Sox on Monday, the Twins are hoping rookie Aaron Hicks can get on a roll. Hicks, who entered Monday's game with a .137 average and one homer, had his best game in the Majors, hitting two homers and robbing a potential game-tying homer in center with a leaping catch.

Krejci honored on Sunday as Twins' Honorary Bat Girl
