The Rangers have placed outfielder Jim Adduci on the seven-day concussion disabled list and recalled infielder/outfielder Ryan Rua from Triple-A Round Rock. Rua, a right-handed hitter, went into the lineup on Friday night, batting fifth and playing first base against Astros left-hander Brett Oberholtzer.
