Howard's homer snaps tie
Phillies 11, Nationals 2
Clay Condrey turned in a solid outing in relief of the injured Jon Lieber. (George Widman/AP)
 Howard's tiebreaking tater
After losing Jon Lieber to a strained left groin, the Phils pulled away as Ryan Howard broke a deadlock with a three-run homer, his 18th of '06. Bobby Abreu, Pat Burrell and David Bell each drove in a pair and Clay Condrey, in relief of Lieber, tossed four scoreless innings for his first win since 2003.
