Adam Wainwright tossed seven solid shutout innings, limiting the Phillies to six hits, for his eighth win of the year. Chris Duncan, Juan Encarnacion, Adam Kennedy and Ryan Ludwick delivered a home run each, while Albert Pujols connected on two. It was Kennedy's first homer this season.
