Kendrick falls just short
Brewers 2, Phillies 1
Kyle Kendrick allowed just two runs over seven innings in the loss. (Darren Hauck/AP)
 Burrell's solo homer
Kyle Kendrick had a quality outing in Friday's opener against the Brewers. Unfortunately, he was pitching against Brewers phenom Yovani Gallardo, who allowed just one run as Pat Burrell launched a deep home run in the seventh inning during the loss.
