Philadelphia may have had its way with Washington in the first three games, but in the finale, the Phillies' goal of moving one step closer in the NL East and the Wild Card was foiled by the Nats. In the game, no Phillies batter had more than one hit, and Ryan Howard whiffed for the 195th time, tying a single-season Major League record.
