If not for the free passes, Johan Santana was pretty strong. But three of the four walks he allowed came around to score, and that was all the Yankees needed to top the Mets. In the twice-rain-delayed loss, Ramon Castro and David Wright hit solo homers against lefty Andy Pettitte.
