The Phillies celebrated the ninth Annual Youth Softball Celebration on Saturday, May 18. The day featured:
An interactive clinic hosted by the Phillies Ballgirls - The clinic was open to girls aged 8-18 and will run from 10:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at the softball fields in FDR Park. The Phillies Ballgirls ran players through drills on fielding, throwing, hitting, base running and pitching.
Attend the game on Saturday, May 18 with a Special Ticket Discount - Softball players, coaches and their families were able to purchase discounted tickets.
Take part in a pre-game parade - All organized youth softball teams had the opportunity to participate in a pre-game parade on-field (limited to the first 3,000 participants). All teams must be in uniform and one chaperone is required for every six children. Specific details regarding reporting time and location and other details will be included with your ticket mailing.
