We first bought our season tickets in 2004 for the Opening of Citizens Bank Park.
Colleen likes the Phillie Phanatic because he plays well every night. Jesse is a huge Roy Halladay fan.
My favorite Philadelphia Phillie was and always be Michael Jack Schmidt.
It has to be 2008 World Series. Game 5. Day two. Final out.
Colleen will eat anything at Harry the Ks and loves the Chickie's and Pete's Crab Fries. Jesse really has no true favorite, although he would never turn away from a short line at Tony Luke's.
Colleen likes "I've Got a Feeling" by the Black Eyed Peas. Jesse prefers "Thunderstruck" by AC/DC.
We both agree that we like the Pitcher's duel.
We love the team's video introduction that plays on the scoreboard while they are taking the field for the first inning on defense. It changes every year, and when the team is healthy and together, it's very moving and really gets a great crowd reaction. A close (new) second is Harry's statue. It helps to have it to remember the voice of our youth.
The people of the Phillies that have supported us when we had questions or needs are always helpful. We have never had a circumstance where the people "behind the scenes" like those in sales did not come through for us.
We always just bought the best seats we could get at the Vet. We went to about 15 games a year. Back then we did not live or work in Philly. As soon as we heard a new stadium was coming, we started to put together a plan for the tickets we have now.
Not exactly. Last year Domonic Brown made a great leaping catch off the out of town scoreboard on a line drive hit by the Red Sox's Big Papi, David Oritz. After Domonic made the catch for the third out, he turned and threw us the ball.
