Steve Cilladi enters his second year as Los Angeles' bullpen catcher following six seasons as a catcher in the Dodger organization. The 28-year-old was selected by the Dodgers in the 33rd round of the 2009 First-Year Player Draft out of Kansas Wesleyan University, where he graduated with a BA in athletic training. In addition to his degree, he has also earned certifications as an athletic trainer and as a strength and conditioning specialist. Cilladi attended Mountain View High School in Mesa, AZ, where he still resides. His father, Dave, was an assistant athletic trainer with the Cubs and then became head athletic trainer for the Rockies from their inaugural season in 1993 until 1998.
