Full name LOUIS BEN FRAN CISCO...Single...Resides in Anaheim, CA...Graduated from Servite High School in 1999 where he was named the 1999 Golden West League MVP and was a two-time all-league selection, hitting .560 w/6HR, 32 RBI and 10SB as a senior ...Played HS ball with Ryan Garko...Went to school and played baseball at Cypress Junior College in 2000 and played two seasons at UCLA in 2001-02...Earned All-Pac 10 honors as a sophomore (.309, 73-236, 20 2B, 6HR, 42RBI) and led the conference in steals (20) in 2002 (.368, 56-152, 11 2B, 6HR, 37RBI) as a junior before being drafted by Cleveland.

Spent virtually the entire season in Cleveland after spending April in Buffalo...Started the season in Buffalo and was recalled for the first time to Cleveland on April 22 and was optioned out on April 26 (was 2 for 6, RBI in 2 games during first stint)....Was recalled again on May 6 and spent the remainder of the season in the big leagues...Received a great deal of playing time all over the outfield after hitting .305 (25-82) in May with 10 2B, 2HR & 11RBI in 23 games...Was one of the top rookie producers in 2008, finished first among AL first-year players in doubles (32), 2nd in extra base hits (47), T4th in HR (15) and 5th in RBI (54)...On the year he appeared in 83 games in left field (71GS), 32 games in right field (27GS) and 2 games in center field....Also made 9 starts at DH when Travis Hafner was injured....His 12 outfield assists were 4th in the AL...Notched career-high 4 RBI on July 10 vs. TB and August 26 at Detroit...Recorded a career-high 5 hits on June 4 at Texas (equaled season-high by Indians batter)...Reached base safely in 91 of 118 games....Was 1 for 10 as a PH (2RBI)...Had a career-best 8 game hitting streak from July 6-19...Had a pair of 2-homer games on July 30 vs. Detroit (4 for 7) and August 26 at Detroit...From July 30 thru the end of the season he hit .261 (46-176) with 7HR & 17RBI in 48 games...From August 27th on he hit .165 (13-79) w/a HR, 4RBI in 23 games...STATSRecorded an on-base of .300 in each month of the season despite his .188 avg in Sept...OPS in 2nd half was .703 compared to .832 in the first half...Hit .285 (61-214) with runners on base.
